Also, Shelburne’s 250th Anniversary Celebration is this weekend, and it kicks off right next to us on the Green! Come visit the Market this Friday, the 22nd, and stay for the Opening Ceremony at 5:15. Then check out the reception, dinner and dancing from 6:00 – 10:30 at the Shelburne-Buckland Community Center right across the street.

To celebrate, we’re also holding a special drawing on the 22nd. Buy a ticket for $1 to enter a drawing to win 10 “Market Dollars”, which you can use with any vendors at the Shelburne Falls Farmers’ Market during any of our markets — during the regular season or during our Autumn Market in November. (Each “Market Dollar” is valued at $1, and can be used instead of cash with any vendor at the Market. The Market Dollars don’t expire, and they can’t be exchanged for cash.) Two lucky folks will each win a certificate for 10 Market Dollars. All the money raised by this drawing will go directly to the “Fill the Belly Bus” campaign.
